My reasons for celebrations:


Afternoon of Feb 14

I was awoken (after well-rested from night shift) by kisses from Hubby, prompted by a 'I have a surprise for you. Well, two actually..' He took something from the drawer, and it was...




I was practically jumping in bed and was totally awakened from my sleepy mode. It's my favourite, white gold with little diamonds!

Then he asked me not to get out of the room till he said so, and when I was allowed to, he presented me with this,


Pasta chix alfredo and the works, made with love by him! He's not a sucker for surprises, but he pulled this one off like a pro coz I wasn't expecting anything at all! Ain't he the sweetest hubby anyone will die for?

Morning of Feb 15, after night shift (again!)

We didn't wish her anything prior, and so she thought we forgot, but lil did she know we planned this surprise together with Abang. She was overlooking the beach, and when we jumped on her from behind, she was so surprised and so happy that she was in tears! Aww.. cute lah u Sis!

Afternoon of Feb 15

Abang and Sis had great news for us. Here is how they broke it to us:

Sis: Ibu and Baba is coming back to Singapore ...
Abang: FOR GOOD.

Silence. Then, roars of surprise. 'Really?? How come??' It seems that Dad has been transferred for duties here as 'Construction Manager' with effect from 2nd March. Wow. That's the best news next to the one Hubby broke to me a few days ago, as he will be starting his new designation with better renumeration on the same day as Dad!

Things are definitely looking up, for everyone of us in the Rahim family. Soon, we will be together again, as what we have relentlessly prayed for, alhamdulillah.

God is great.

I'm just praying for one more little miracle to happen... ;)
