So the residents at the unit below ours complained of leaking piping in the toilet. So we complied with HDB to engage a contractor to do renovation works, which costs a lot from our own pockets, 3 days of noise and dust all over the house, and poor Mum almost cried at having to clean up after the contractors.

And so the contractors demanded payment right after the work is done, which they got of course.

And then debris from the reno works were just disposed at the walkway below, which has spurned complaints from residents, again.

And then the last straw came when we were disturbed from our morning peace by forceful knocks on the door, seemingly by an officer from the Town Council, asking us why are the debris still undisposed of, and that even the media has been alerted.

Like, hello. We already paid the contractors to dispose of them properly, but is it our fault that it has not been done? It's enough that we already complied whatever they asked us to do, and yet, they still wanna point fingers at us? Is this how the officer should behave? Tsk tsk, it was a lucky thing he apologised after, coz if he hadn't, I would have already given him a piece of my mind, or two even.

Gosh, I'm so pisssed at how we, simple people, always get trodden upon.

And she waves goodbye...
