They were bugging me to hurry coz they've been hounded by the drink stall mamak to order drinks - when it was only 6pm.

So when I arrived they were standing outside , waiting. Noni was the last to arrive, so she offered to treat the drinks.

A simple fair of mee kuah, sup tulang and mutton chop at Beach Rd. And of course, the usual bucketful of lame jokes.


The choco dinosaur that intrigued me.


Yati enjoying her tulang immensely. On their instigation, Lela and I had our first taste of the som-som. And we disliked it. Yerks. So we sat there and 'admired' them knocking and sucking the som-som out of the tulang. Hehekz!


The only group pic I had coz Noni was the one snapping. Too shy to ask a stranger to snap the 5 of us..

And so I shall meet them everyday ...

On this day of 6th of Ramadhan, I am terribly sorry to hear of a good friend's mother's passing after months of battling with cancer. So to this friend, we pray that your mother will be placed among the good in the afterlife. Do be strong and accept this willingly as part and parcel of life...
