Our 3am sms exchanges while on night duty was as following.

Me: Did you hear anything weird when we were sleeping just now?

Yati: I heard some creaking sound, macam orang bukak pintu masuk, tapi takde orang..

Me: Shites..I heard the empty bed frames rattling..

Yati: Yah! Dats the rite term! Terfikir2 dat time wat those sounds could be..Bunyi tu then bunyi pintu kita ditolak.I think we can't switch off the lites at that area..

Me: Yah..must make sure we dun switch off the lights..First time seh kene..Yvonne pun dengar, tapi dia ingatkan ader orang amik barang kat situ..Freaky..Tapi Aini dgn Yana tak dengar pulak..

Yati: Tu dah gone agaknyer.I wasn't able to sleep tadi, so I was able to hear it. It was about 1plus, 1st it was a high pitch creak, after a while senyap, then came beberapa creaks..it wasnt the door after all..I guess its true what the Team A girls said..

Me: Yup! Correct2..OMG..I was near there seh..I heard it I trus cover myself with my sleeping bag..Didnt even think of looking to see what it was..

Yati: You could actually take a video of it..

Me: Video? Terkencing kat sluar saper nak gi jawab? Hehe..

This event happened while we were on our resting period. I was just about to doze off when I heard violent rattlings of the empty bed frames at the corner of our restroom. You see, this corner is always kept lighted. Previously, all the mattresses were on those empty bedframes, but was moved to the floor when officers complained of constant shaking, like someone shaking the bed when they were resting at night. Thus, that area has been informally 'cordoned off', and the lights were never switched off. But last night, our itchy fingers decided to switch off the lights, and I experienced first hand what the stories described.

It was true afterall...

I can't imagine what I would have seen if I had decided to see what was actually happening...

And she waves goodbye...
