We are on our way to what he calls the 'Discovery' day. See, for the whole of my life, I've not been to this place which is famous for selling all sorts of cheap knick-knacks by the roadside.

From what I heard from friends, you can get pretty interesting stuffs if you are familiar with the place and the peddlers. I was hoping to get some old photos of Saloma and P.Ramlee, or any old photos of anybody from that era for that matter, for a research I am doing. But after rounds of walking, I never really found interesting stuffs, except this stall which is pretty unique selling oldschool gadgets.

I was tempted to get the gramophone when Ajid reminded me how Mom will scream if I really do buy it. So, I banished the thought. I thought these were interesting too.

Before the existence of 'Computers.'
The weather got pretty hot, so we decided to chill somewhere for a light snack. We passed by the Victoria Street wholesale centre, and got Ajid to pose among the many types of
ikan bilis.

Afterwhich, we discovered these wonderful tasty treats.

Custard cream puff and chocolate fondant, topped with icing sugar. Heaven!
We both agreed we should have more of these excursion kinda trips. Sure something different from the usual town-movie-dinner kinda dates don't you think?
And she waves goodbye...
